Now Available on Vinyl

In an earlier thread, mention was made of the album JJ Cale & Eric Clapton
made together entitled 'The Road to Escondido'.
For those interested, the vinyl release will hit the stores (in the US) on
December 5; a 180 gram audiophile quality pressing mastered by Stan Ricker &
pressed at RTI. Price is the usual US$34.98 (double the price of the CD).

Thanks for that Ruff but at $34.98 US plus freight I may just settle
for the CD until the LP is imported.
Or am I being utopian imagining an OZ retailer will bother to import
180gm audiophool vinyl in these MP3 days? Have you already heard the
Cale/Clapton effort? I hope Clapton doesn't do too much of the singing
and sticks to what he does best.

Would be well worth getting the Vinyl imo.
Lots of good foot tapping tracks...great guitar as expected and also
some very nice Billy Preston hammond B3 and piano.
And you'll be pleased to know EC lets Cale do most of the vocals.
