Capital Gold replaces Capital Life

On many forums similar to this one, speculation is that these two are
merging. Well these are the plans. source 0207 766 6000

Gold replaces Life on Digital One

Gold remains at the moment on London CE Multiplex and probably on other
local multiplexes for the time being.

Talks are on going, they are srill deep in discussions, but one thing is
for sure Life is going!

Told by a source at Capital Radio
But I guess it remains to be seen whether Capital Golds format will shift
slightly given that GCap now sell the advertising for both Capital Gold &
Classic Gold, and are a 20% shareholder in Classic Gold. They may want a
differentiating factor between the two.

Capital Gold was too much like the GCap Century Brand anyway, and when I
felt like listening to 80's stuff I always landed up listening to that in
preference to Life.
