Studio assistant needed !!

Hi there I'm looking for a studio assistant. I have a residential
studio set up in the countryside. Basically it is Mac based (ranging
from an old quadra right through to the new intels..!!) I have lots of
synths and like getting a trippy sound with them and effects. Got a
few samplers, all Ensoniq's, although I use Sample-cell and the ESX 24
software in my Studio 2.

I've worked with Dido, U2, Brian Eno etc, I developed cowrote and
produced the first Keane album and I recently cowrote and produced an
album for Siobhan Donaghy (ex Sugarbabes), the video for the first
single is just getting play now.

I'd like an assistant who is energetic and enthusiastic (who can make
tea, answer the phone, tidy up) and also record and program with Logic
timing up drums and tuning vocals etc. Being able to play an
instrument is an advantage but not compulsory.

I'm prepared to pay a wage to a competent and useful assistant.....
please feel free to pass this one to anyone who you think might be
suitable !!
And you are where?
Are we supposed to recognize where you are from your name and
reputation? Or will you pay relocation expenses if it's even to
someplace I'd like to live?
That is part of the employment screening. If you can
figure out where this guy is on our planet, then you
have passed the first part of the test. Of course, we
are all assuming he is on Planet Earth.
Mixerman II
I thought this was a 'pro' list, may have been mistaken.

Help him out, folks. He REALLY needs an assistant (an administrative
assistant).
I'm in France.
That's narrowed it down. Is it that gray building ?

geoff

PS "Set up in the countryside" and "cowrote" had me really confused, until I
figured you meant "co-wrote" !
Really? I'd tracked you down to Surrey. And your post header carries a
posting time with a zero offset from UTC. Are you sure you're in
france?

cheers,

James Sanger
