Advice wanted re speakers for Pure Evoke 1XT

I've just bought a Pure Evoke 1XT, and I'm very pleased with it.
It's only mono, but you can turn it into stereo by either adding their
own dedicated speaker to it, or else using a pair of powered speakers
from another manufacturer.
Which do you think will give the best sound? And if powered speakers
are a better bet, can anyone here recommend some good quality, good
value models?

DAB and Good Quality. Now there is a contradiction.

Don't go overboard with the quality. Few will have more expensive
speakers than mine on the end of their DAB radio and believe me it is
not a good idea - well it may have been at the time I did it but I'm not
going into the history here. :-)

Big speakers meant for a computer will be fine. As for audio quality, you
will not get that from DAB. It's nowhere near as good as listening to an
MP3 file or an FM stereo transmission.
