Headphone recommendations requested
|
I'm looking for a replacement set of headphones (my Sony MDR-E829V's
have broken), but information regarding some of my requirements is not
available from the published specs, so any personal recommendations
would be appreciated.
Headphones will be used with my Archos Jukebox or iPod while commuting
by train. Hence I need (a) to be able to turn the volume right down when
there are announcements being made (the Sony's don't do this) and (b) I
don't want to irritate my fellow passengers.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) In-ear stereo headphones with 3.5mm jack
2) Volume control which reduces volume to zero (or near zero) at minimum
3) Minimal noise bleed externally
4) High quality sound is not paramount (given that these will be used
for listening in a very noisy environment)
Music is mostly rock, punk, reggae, pop. Price not important (up to a
point!)
