(re) introduction Gordo

It's been years since I last posted here. Good to see some are still
around, for the rest...

I retired (?) after 35 years in the music biz a few years ago.
Most of that was doing live audio on the road but have done nearly
everthing including lighting, truck and bus driver, stage management,
71/2 years of live radio broadcast 5 nites a week etc.

Now I teach guitar and work for a charity (Childrens Wish
Foundation). A real break from the egos of the music biz.

Still do a few jazz and bluegrass shows and some rock for the
geriatric. ;-) Amazingly I still have pretty good ears despite years
of 100+ db's. of abuse.

I have NEVER sent a rider with a contract. Supplied sound companys
with a good stage map and took what they had. Love to work cold, plug
in the last mic.chord as the band walks on stage, keeps things
interesting.

Hope to start posting more again and telling some old road tails.
good to have you. post some war stories or favorite gig stuff
its always interesting to hear tales from the trenches
