Lottsa' help needed

Hello All,

I'm a weekend warrior rock drummer, and due to the nature of this band, as
opposed to my last, I'm starting a re-rack, re-wire configuration using a
bunch of gear new to me. What I'm trying to accomplish, of course, is the
best sound I can muster, with the fastest set-up/down time.

My gear consists of.

Mackie:

1604 VLZ (I know, not highly thought of)

Behringer:

1- MDX4600 compressor,

1- DSP1000 efx,

1- DEQ2496

1- FBX6200

1- EX1200 Ultrabass

Lexicon:

MPX200 efx

DOD:

2- 231 eq's

2/3way xover

Peavey:

2- PV2000 amps(400/700/1000,1400/2000w)

2- SP4g's (4ohm 600c/1200pr/2400pk)

2- Subcompact18's(8ohm 350c/700pr)

Yamaha:

2- SM15V(8ohm 250/500/1000)

QSC:

2- 2450's(500/750/1200,1500/2400)

Sound run from drummers' position with help from band members out front.
Rack #1 contains mixer, IEM, efx, ultrabass, and compressors. Rack #2 is
eq's and xover. Rack#3 is power amps. Mono from board out to mains. I need 3
monitor mixes(2 up front, 1 to IEM), and want to run the bottoms from an
aux, so that kinda' means my auxes are used. I originally thought that I
could use all 6 auxes at once. From what I see, it's only 4 at a time.

DEQ2496 on monitors for ringing them out using the RTA feature.

I plan on grouping my vocals, guitars, and drums (kick and toms),
separately.

Drum efx, ultrabass, and FBQ 6200 eq inserted at the group. Do I need to
compress the drums?

Vocal efx at group back to spare channel(not sure of the need here as right
now no special efx are happening with the vox ). Compressor's (3) inserted
at each vox channel. DOD 231(1/2) eq inserted at mains. Sub aux to inline
DOD231(1/2) eq, to amp.

Do I need the xover? I planned on sending everything to the tops, and then
bringing the bass guitar, kick and toms in just enough at their auxes to the
bottoms, to make the difference. If I do use the xover with the bottoms,
would I set it to to say 150 or so to keep them low? Any suggestions as to
how I maximize the power to cab's configuration?
suggest that you try mixer out to EQ to crossover to amplifiers to speakers.

HELP! Am I on the right path? Totally lost? I know I've forgotten half of
what I was going ask, so please speak to issues I haven't thought to
address. Thanks for all the help.
